The weekend has doubled the excitement of cricket lovers as they would be free to enjoy the two archrivals in action a Super Eights match. People have made arrangements to watch the match in large gatherings in parks, public places, cinemas and restaurants.
Multimedia projectors, LCDs and LED TVs would be placed at hotels, shopping malls, public parks and even on roads to air live coverage of the match. Screening of the match has been planned at Atrium Mall, Port Grand, Aga Khan University, Dolmen Mall, Karachi Gymkhana and several other parks, universities and schools in Karachi. The price of tickets for these venues ranges from Free to Rs 900, depending on the quality of screen and refreshments on offer. Major sponsor for the event is Coke which has installed numerous giant screens across different universities and public venues.
Besides public places, people have also arranged screening of the match at their houses. Though Pakistan has started with a very disappointed opening by Shahid Afridi, hopes are that they will play well and will be able to score over 150. Lets wait and watch to see who plays well in T20 today!
